Hello, I am Jackie Feasey, owner of Samphire Tutoring.

I have spent 6 years working in Primary schools as a Teaching Assistant and 2 years visiting Primary schools in Dover, Deal and the surrounding villages, working individually with children and families who needed extra support for emotional and physical wellbeing, bereavement, separation, anger etc.

​

I have over 20 years experience of working with children since qualifying from college with a BTEC National Diploma (Caring Services) in 1993. These include working for SureStart, running several Pre-schools and working for the Wave project (a 3 way funded initiative from Health, Social Services & Education)

I have First Aid, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Designated Person Safeguarding training certificates, and a CRB check, all currently in date.

​

I have always enjoyed working with children and I believe I build a good rapport with the children I teach/tutor. I enjoy reaching the individual needs of children by finding ways to support them and helping them learn. I enjoy watching children's confidence levels grow as they believe in themselves more and more. I believe tutoring should be fun for each child and not a chore.
